Changing Lives Nepal

Changing Lives Nepal supports social entrepreneurs engaged in long-term, effective, and sustainable change in Nepal. After years of private support and with a deep commitment to the well-being of Nepal’s people, Deana Zabaldo and Nancy Porten formally established a non-profit grant-making fund in order to enable interested donors and supporters to support change in Nepal with confidence in the efficacy and personal oversight of projects. We identify highly motivated local individuals and support them in their efforts for change by personally advising and monitoring the projects we fund. Our goal is to truly change lives by helping Nepalis to create a better future themselves.

Our Projects

The Organic Tea Farmer Collective helps over 1000 rural villagers to earn money for schooling, solar energy, health, and home improvement.

Team Nepal supports initiatives for children’s education and well-being including building and running a children’s home, supporting community school construction, and providing education scholarships.
